M97C06T5 Bench Press 120 kgs Paused & Diipen Deadlift 210 kgs x 2 reps

MISCELLANEOUS

Diipen progressed on Deadlifts by adding reps. He also ditched the straps for most of the big sets so the Gripper Training is definitely paying off! His diet is improving and it looks like steady improvement is on the menu!

Diipen’s Deadlifts:
185 kgs x 2 reps
195 x 2
210 x 2 @ 95%
185 x 5
195 x 3
190 x 3

Conditioning Drills 2 sets:
Unilateral OHP 20 x 6
DL 175 x 3


As for my training: everything is coming along smoothly. I’ll get to 123 or 125 kgs in a few weeks.  

Bench Press:
105 kgs x 7 reps
115 x 2 @ 935%
120 x 1 @ 97.6%

Bench Press Zero Leg Drive:
105 x 5
105 x 3 + 1
105 x 3
105 x 2

Tricep Band Pressdowns:
No. 1 x 20 x 6 sets







Ben is adding weight and sets as he heads towards 90%+ mark. A few strong habits need more grounding: pausing on the last reps of Bench, more strict technique with the Uni OHP and a quicker uptake on Pullups.



Bench Press:
110 kgs x 5 reps x 3 sets @ 83%
115 x 2 @ 86.8%
117,5 x 1 @ 88.7%

Unilateral Overhead Press:
16 x 8 x 4

Pull-ups:
BW x 2 x 5
