DEADLIFTS &
OVERHEAD PRESS Main Event
Tonight’s workout was tough as nails and I am just relieved
to maintain my performance on Deadlifts. I went in feeling weak which is
somewhat expected given the strong rotation of Good Mornings I am coming off
but I worked up to 240 kgs x 2 x 2 and that total volume matches my all time
best. I was a bit bummed out with my single with 226 at the end because I
wanted to get 3 or 4 reps with it but I was just gassed out at that stage. The
silver lining is that I have something that can be improved upon over the next
2 weeks. This was a good brutal session.
Warm-ups:
Pin Back Squats: 65 kgs x 3 reps, 105 x 3 & 125 x 2
SSB Good Mornings: 75 x 5, 115 x 3, 135 x 3 & 155 x 2

hit his max after a bunch of volume work.
