GOOD MORNINGS Main
Event
Good Mornings were challenging as hell but they felt very
comfortable and smooth so adding a rep to 185 kgs made the most sense. I was
concerned with how tough it is for me to progress on Deadlifts but with the way
I am pushing Good Mornings, Eric has instructed that as long as one of the two
keeps moving forward I’m doing fine. Tonight was a good strong session and I
have one more week of GM and then it is back to Deadlifts for 3 weeks. I think
next week I will stack on some reps to 195 kgs (which was my 1RM just a few
weeks ago) or I will do something bigger but I tend to play cautiously so it’ll
probably be volume time.

DIIPEN SSB SQUATS
Last week Diipen hit 185 kgs on SSB Squats for the very
first time but the form was iffy at best and we all felt it was not as deep as
his other reps. So, tonight was Diipen’s shot at redemption and he nailed 185
kgs for 2 GOOD singles.
SSB Squats:
135 kgs x 5 reps
155 x 2
175 x 1 x 2 sets
185 x 1 x 2 @ 100%
175 x 1
165 x 2
155 x 2
145 x 4
135 x 7 + 3 rest-paused
