DEADLIFT Day
Well, I have learned my
lesson - 4 heavy workouts in 48 hours is really too much. Today's deadlift session
was actually very good till I got to the end. 202,5 kgs with chains for a
double on Chained Deadlifts took 9 failed attempts. NINE. That's a full hour of
total failures till I got it. Luckily, well, silver lining and all; the
failures were all right off the floor as in the bar did not even budge off the
floor. In fact, my legs and back were so exhausted I wasn't even able to set up
right and I was unable to exert any force against the bar. So I am really happy
that I got what I wanted and I am not going to put myself into a corner like
this again. On a lighter and happier note: I plan on maintaining the numbers on
Chained Deadlifts while increasing the weight on Good Mornings. I have a
feeling that I can build up to something really big on GM and I want to push
the envelope on that. So 200 x 2 or 3 and 202,5 for 1 or 2 is going to be the
norm on Chained DLs.
