DEADLIFT Day
I got really wiped out
with deadlifts today. I think it is going to take some time before I fully
recover from last week's fever, weakness, weightloss and loss of appetite. In
the meantime I am going to reintroduce Back Squats into my exercise arsenal
because I have this gut feeling they are going to give me that stability I want
at the bottom of the Deadlift. Ever since I have dropped Back Squats I have
been experiencing this weakness off the floor. So it will take me 3-5 weeks to
get back to my old Benchmark of 167,5 kgs x 2 reps on BSQ and in the mean time
unless Eric interjects, I am going to stop heavy Deadlifts off the floor. I
think I will reintroduce Banded Deadlifts with different #1 bands so that I
have no numbers I am psychologically chasing and after banded dls I will work
up to 228,5 kgs on regular Deadlifts for a single. I am also going to begin
doing a burnout set with 185 kgs for 7 reps at the end. So even though this
workout has left me fairly dejected, I am feeling positive about the changes I
plan on making. Ofcourse, it goes without saying that Eric has to sign off on
these changes and probably make some modifications or rewrite the whole plan.

222,5 x 2 @ 91.6%
233 x 1 @ 96%
Overhead Press:
85 x 2 @ Benchmark
75 x 8 RP
65 x 10 RP
